Newfred: Writing Liberally

Well, here I am...

Well, here I am. I drove down today with my mum after all, and the journey was good, and I arrived safely, and everything is working out. There is at this moment only a foreign guy and a hoover in my corridor. I've had a couple of chats with the foreign guy. He told me where he's from but I've been too busy with madness to remember.

I've just had a walk up my road. The first thing I came across was a bizarre Spanish music-playing bar. Then I went on to a more trendy place, but I haven't yet linked up with anyone. I've just not met alot of people. And the people I've seen have been in their groups and I've not wanted to intrude.

Tomorrow Tom is coming up and I hope that that will give me a bit more confidence. Along with him there will no doubt be an influx of people turning up at my halls of residence. I've only really been here for five hours; I've expected too much to happen. I have my room, I have a cup of coffee, I have looked around. That is enough for now.
